Common questions.
Eight workshop questions we hear every week. Plain answers, no jargon.
How long does a WOF take?
Allow 45 to 60 minutes if booked. Walk-ins served same day on most weekdays subject to bay availability.
Do you have a courtesy car?
Two courtesy cars available, first in first served, booking required. Bookings via phone or the online form.
What payment methods do you accept?
Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, cash. Q Card and Gem Visa for jobs over $1,000. No surcharge on under-tap eftpos.
Do you provide a quote first?
Yes. Every job over $80 of labour is quoted, signed off by the customer, and the invoice matches the quote.
What is the warranty on your work?
Twelve months or 20,000 km on parts and labour we install. The MTA Repair Guarantee covers our work under their network terms.
Do you handle insurance claims?
Yes, direct with NZ insurers. We deal with the assessor; you deal with us. Most claims approved within 2 working days.
Can you service electric vehicles?
Yes. Leaf, MG ZS EV, Tesla Model 3 and Y for service items not requiring main-traction work. Battery health checks on request.
What if my WOF fails?
We give you the written fail list with cost to repair. Free retest within 28 days if we do the repair. No retest fee if the fault is one we caused.
